Using the Remote Control code to use the Onkyo remote to contol my Dvd Player and TV?

I am using Onkyo S90 Home Theater HT. I saw a remote control code on the Onkyo website. And there are buttons to DVD, TV, etc. on the remote control. How I can have the remote to control the same TV and DVD player?
